Disc Golf Bags and Backpacks
Many disc golf players don't even consider a specific bag to carry around their gear initially. You think you'll just carry along a few discs to the course, and that will be enough.
Between sizes, weights, and the performance those aspects bring, your collection of two to five disc golf discs becomes inconvenient to lug around eventually, and even beginner and casual players find themselves needing a disc golf bag.
After we made a solid name for our colors, patterns, and discs, Dynamic Discs launched our own branded line of disc golf bags. This selection is further joined by high-quality offerings from Latitude 64 and Westside Discs.
What to Look for in a Disc Golf Bag
At a glance, a disc golf bag looks like an ordinary backpack with an opening on top. Yet, the bag is shaped for holding specific pieces of gear and includes space and slots for organizing discs and the rest of your items. Ideally, once you get to be an intermediate player or you've built up a sizeable collection, seek out a model that can accommodate 15 to 20 discs.
Especially if you'll be on a full 18-hole course, your disc golf bag should suit the afternoon or weekend you have ahead. In turn, Dynamic Discs carries bags with pockets and other compartments for holding sunblock, insect repellent, a towel, and a water bottle, or may offer hydration pack or cooler features.
Dynamic Discs' Own Disc Golf Bags
Since 2005, we have been committed to growing the game of disc golf and believe that everyone should get out there and play. In upholding our mission, we started our own line of disc golf bags with the following models:
- Commander: In its current version, this lightweight yet durable backpack-style disc golf bag offers space for carrying up to 20 discs in the interior and includes multiple vertical pockets for extra discs and gear, including water bottles and phones.
- Sniper: The Sniper is the ideal entry-level disc golf bag. Today, it holds up to 16 discs in its main compartment, and includes padded straps for comfortable wear and multiple exterior pockets for your gear.
- Ranger: This long-time favorite has gone through a few upgrades over the years. Today, the Ranger disc golf bag, with a more structured form, supports up to 20 discs in the main compartment and two putters in its side pocket, ensuring you can bring along everything you need. As well, the bag offers ample room to not only bring along a phone and water bottle but also clothing and keeps your gear dry no matter what the forecast looks like.
Along with these three models, we have expanded our lineup over the years to include the Cadet, Cadet Backpack, Trooper, new Paratrooper, and Commander Cooler.
