Not as advertised

To start I’m an advanced rated player. I was excited when I picked up the strive in store. Great plastic great dome. I was a little concerned with the parting line and curvature of the rim. Without throwing, reading reviews, or watching videos I figured it would be less stable than the -1 turn and 3 fade. Boy was I right. The strive for me is a roller or turnover disc. I am unable to throw this disc unless there is no wind or a tail wind. I can’t get the disc to fly in accordance or even close to the manufacturer flight numbers. I thought I may have picked up a defective disc. Then I read reviews and I’m not alone. This disc flys most similar to a Discraft Heat I have. The strive just goes farther. The true flight numbers are closer to -3 turn 1 fade.

I’m disappointed the manufacturer labeled it as -1 turn 3 fade. It’s sad to think they gave those numbers to try and sell more discs. But I think that may be the case.

Nice Flight but Not True to Numbers

As someone who averages about 425ft of distance, I can say that this disc flies closer to a -2, 2 than a -1, 3. That being said, it is a great long range hyzer flip or turnover driver that you can put power behind with just a little bit of angle control. All in all, a nice high speed driver. Just needs a number tweak in my opinion.

This Disc really flies

I got a great price during the black friday event, the Grand strive plastic feels amazing, and is very durable. I throw backhand and it is very consistent.

Grand Strive

Love the disc so far. Flippyer than the fight numbers suggest.
