Westside Discs
About Westside Discs
Westside Discs, founded in 2003, was originally a Finnish company importing and selling several disc brands on the Finnish market. In 2009, they began working on their own line of discs in cooperation with Latitude 64 and have since then expanded the number of popular molds with each year. Keeping in touch with its roots, the Westside graphics picture themes and characters from the Finnish national epic Kalevala.
Now molded by Latitude 64, Westside Discs and Dynamic Discs exist under the same roof and, in turn, share many of the same elements. As such, Westside Discs and Dynamic Discs deliver similar quality and construction while retaining our respective designs, colors, and naming. For Westside Discs, its long-time bestsellers have included the Harp, Sword, Underworld, Hatchet, and Warship models.

In terms of construction, Westside Discs, through Latitude 64, utilizes the following materials:
- VIP: Geared toward recreational and professional players, VIP is Westside Discs' ultra-durable, high-tech performance plastic. VIP has built a reputation for its reliability and ability to maintain its flight characteristics.
- VIP Air: Air Technology helps reduce the weight on the flight plate and rim to angle most of the air toward the disc's center. The result provides stronger impact resistance along the rim's edge and bottom and lightens up the overall weight.
- Tournament: Tournament is Westside Discs' advanced version of VIP plastic, offering all of the same performance characteristics but with a stronger grip.
- BT Soft: As the name implies, this plastic utilizing a mix of rubbers and polymers feels softer and more pliable in your hands without compromising grip. The result improves release and delivers consistent lines on the course.
- BT Medium: Like BT Soft but stiffer, BT Medium provides a slightly stronger grip with a bit of give and consistent durability.
- BT Hard: A firmer plastic that offers a tacky grip, BT Hard keeps your performance consistent in warm climates, holding its shape and providing the fast release you seek from a stiffer plastic disc.
- Origio: Origio is all about the grip and creating a disc that's effortless to throw.
